Atlético Madrid B have started the second round of the Segunda División B well with a 3-2 win over Getafe B. In the first match of the season the boys in blue had beaten us 1-0, but this time the Rojiblancos were on the winning end after a miraculous goal from a surprising scorer gave us the full three points.
Atlético Madrid B have ended 2010 on a high note with a 1-0 victory over Cacereño. Despite last week’s loss the team has strung together a nice run of results since the end of October. The biggest news of the day was the return of Borja, who played the last 15 minutes of the match.
Diego Forlán and Álvaro Domínguez joined their teammates today for a two hour training session. The duo had missed our friendly against Real Mallorca yesterday due to minor injuries. The players that started in our 3-2 loss either had a recuperative session with Miguel Peiró or worked out in the gym. Keko, Ibrahima and Paco Regalón hoped to stay with the first team this season but have been moved back to Atlético B.
