Former Atlético player Juan Escudero passed away on Tuesday at the age of 91, MARCA reports. Escudero, who was the last living member of Atlético Aviación de Madrid – as Atleti was temporarily known as from 1939 through 1947 – won back-to-back La Liga titles with los Rojiblancos during the 1939/40 and 1940/41 seasons, the first two times the club had finished at the very top of the league standings.
