i just fuckin’ knew grizi will miss that penalty

  • Joa Andrew

I totally wish Gameiro or Gabi takes responsibility for the penalties now. Good stop from Valencia’s GK though, sigh.

  • Kris

Sometimes you gotta admit that you’re not god enough at something and let somebody who is better take charge of that role. He has a 28% conversion rate from penalties. This is horrible and can cost us so many games if penalties are the only clear cut chances we can get. I love Griezmann and I praise him highly every time but he’s not good at penalties and that should be the end of that. Somebody else needs to take them.

  • Vicente Calderón

Griezmann please please stop playing the penalties give it to Gabi or Gameiro this game is so crucial

  • Ahmad Hossainy

    me too

  • Mitch

Torres in and one goal by Grizi….7 & 9 excellent combo!

  • Mitch

This is crazy, Torres should had taken the penalty!

  • Dircil

    Wow, Diego Alves! I’m speechless!

  • Kris

Well fuck shit. We need to practice penalties, because Gabi’s was sooo weak.

  • Mitch

    I was right 0 – 4 (counting the 2 penalties), LOL!

  • Karlp

    gameirooooooo……….. :):):)

  • Kris

YESSSS!!! GAMEIRO!!! I desperately wanted this man to score today. He worked really really hard today, and he creates those chances for himself so many times, but he missed like two other one on ones after superb runs with the ball. So happy he got that goal. Gonna be really good for his confidence, and glad Simeone gave him the full 90 minutes.

  • Mitch

Yes, he sure is a hard worker! I like him. Torres said “Gameiro has to be the striker for Atleti”

  • leika

Damn Gameiro is fast! 😀 I am so happy that Simeone is finally playing 4-3-3 which means we always have enough attacking power to upset the opposition. More so each attacker has a really good replacement. Although I think that Gaitan/Carrasco is more effective from the start than Correa. It seems to me that Correa-Torres, Torres-Gameiro, Gameiro-Griezmann are great combinations. Am I the only one who notices that Koke gets frustrated very easily and as a result makes lots of unnecessary fouls?

  • Alfred Rodriguez

U knew Gabi would miss too?

  • Kris

    HAHA.

  • Ahmad Hossainy

Actually I thought he would score a great penalty and force Simeone to make him our first-choice penalty taker .

Now I guess it will be Gameiro, and I believe it should be him, he took 10 penalties in La Liga and scored 9 of them .
    Not a 100% record like Falcao’s, but definitely better than Greizmann’s 28 % .
