Correa is overambitious atm. I think Carrasco for Correa is the right switch for me. Leave Jackson on and provide him with service, because that’s what he needs. He isn’t exactly a Diego Costa however hard he may try. Griezmann, come on man, be a little selfish please. I like this 4-3-3 play. Saul is good, needs to be consistent throughout the match though, but this is how you learn. Experience. Godin man is fucking fantastic in defense so far, and Savic is great as well, a different type of CB from both Gimenez and Godin. NEVER let him go. One of those Koke’s runs was fantastic, he also managed to get a cross in, didn’t think he had it in him. We definitely have won the midfield battle this time around.
The problem lies in creating chances now. Seems every time we rely on some lucky goal to finish off a game. We have to create chances from regular play, which we haven’t done.

I still don’t think Simeone actually has a system is place to attack. At least have a way of getting Greizmann more involved, SOMETHING.

Thomas does it again!!!! YES YES YES!!! Fantastic Thomas!

Again, Thomas carries us. Why is he so good?

  • Kris

Because he’s managed to stay humble and whenever he does get a chance, he ends it with quality performance.

  • Kris

Again we fail to create any clear cut chances… Not a bad performance at all, every other aspect of the game we played very well, but creating chances and scoring?? Terrible again. Another hopeful goal that got us the win. Struggle, Struggle again, struggle some more, and then finally score. This pattern has got me in sweat showers in this cold winter.
