The schedule for the upcoming football year has been announced, and Atlético Madrid will open up the 2015/16 season with a visit from Las Palmas on the weekend of the 23rd August.

This is followed a week later by a tough away trip to Sevilla, with an international break the only respite before Atleti welcome Barcelona to the Vicente Calderón around the 13th September.

The two derbies to look out for are at home on the 4th October and then at the Bernabeu on the 24th February.

Our return fixture against Barcelona is on the 31st January, where a certain Turk will be waiting to welcome us to the Camp Nou.

The good news however is that Atleti will have finished playing against both Real Madrid and Barcelona by the end of February, making the run-in to the end of the season that much easier.

Our last game will be at home to Celta on the 15th May.

A tough start for Simeone’s men – but you have to play everyone twice anyway!

First six games:
Las Palmas (h)
Sevilla (a)
Barcelona (h)
Eibar (a)
Getafe (h)
Villarreal (a)

  • Ringo’s world is one

I we start the season in good form and the others have to warm up a little more, this could turn out to be quite beneficial.

We’ll just have to wait and see.

  • Ahmad Hossainy

A tough start, will play all the five of the top six last season in the first 9 weeks, with two back-to-back : Sevilla then Barca, and Villarreal then RM

On the positive side, we will play 3 of the last 4 games at home,
    week 35 vs Malaga
    week 36 vs Rayo
    week 38 vs Celta

and guess where are we going in week 37 ?! .. Estadi Ciutat de València, just like the last two seasons, except it was in week 36 .. can we finally win there this time ?!

I guess this season we need more than ever to stick with PARTIDO A PARTIDO
