Matchday LIVE: Córdoba vs. Atlético

Atleti return to action after a long fortnight break

It’s been a long two weeks, but Atlético finally return to action this afternoon as they travel to take on bottom side Córdoba.

A win would move Atleti into third as Valencia are set to play Villarreal tomorrow. Simeone said we have ten cup finals left – and today is one of them.

Yo, that was outside the box!! That’s a first!!!!!

  • almost forgot how the away goal looks like !

  • Kris

I don’t know if Mandzukic is tired or something but he hasn’t added shit to our game. It feels like we are playing with 10 men with him on the pitch.

  • Kris

    Saul just popped up lol.

  • Jesus Gamez is the new Rory Delap !
I don’t know if he used the throw in weapon with Malaga, didn’t watch too many games for them, did he ?!

  • Arjit Barua

I’m not his biggest fan. He’s tenacious and has good instincts in front of goal but he adds nothing to our game otherwise. At least Torres tries… And he can dribble past defenders sometimes.

  • Wow… that’s Courtois in goal for Chelsea

  • Kris

Holy shit!!! Thanks for posting that.. DAMNN!!!

  • Kris

    Gimenez is such a beast.

  • all our 5 canteranos (Gabi, Koke, Mario, Saul & Torres) are on the pitch right now, for the first time this season, and of course for the the first time ever

i think atletico need to sell mandzkic for big money anf replace him with Icardi who more fit for atletico counter attacking style
also move to carzolla is great. that make koke to a midfielder

  • Mithas

torres had a terrible game today imo. maybe not terrible but he was just as invicible as mandzukic and lost the ball too easily. oh boy, wheres the old torres…
