It´s a really dissapointing performance so far!! There is no connection between midfield and strikers. Torres and Mandzukic are running their ass off but are completely ineffective! Many awful passes without an idea! Obviously Turan and Koke are lacking!! They are the engine of the team!

  • Jeronamo Pakor Jones

Let me be the first to say FUCK YOU MARIO SUAREZ

  • Jeronamo Pakor Jones

I’m sick of Simione’s damn blatant favouritism towards certain players

  • Jeronamo Pakor Jones

See and because of favouritism we’re two goals down… I’m tired of this nonsense

  • palestine-atletico

So it seems Ronaldo was right!!!!
Bye bye la liga hope we can hold the third place…..
    🙁

  • We don’t even look like getting back into this

Celta knew exactly how to beat us. Atleti are known for their high energy and hard work. Celta had exactly that more than us. I knew right away that we were going to concede when the ref chose to look away when it clearly was a handball. Atleti always concede after a bad decision from the ref.
One thing funny is that every time my national team lose a cricket match, atleti does the same. This day turned out to be a very bad day.

There’s only one way to take this defeat – which is to calm down and accept that playing like this you don’t win championships. Tonight it was like Atletico was in blue and Celta in red and white. Our own medicine tastes bitter. Celta, who has nothing to gain in terms of league position, wanted this victory – which for us was as important is it gets – more, and they got it.

Where the fuck is partido a partido? 6 points against Real, 1 point against Celta. Crazy arithmetics.

  • Αθανάσιος Νικηταράς

Inform us when your national team lose… We can win money on that way 😛

  • Adnan Khan

Hahaha, let’s hope i never have to do that 😉

  • I’m sorry, I don’t want to be impolite, but it’s ridiculous to be surprised of this defeat
After the derby, It seemed that I’m the only one who is angry and disappointed at Arda & Raul (and Simeone, their coach) for getting themselves suspended for ” protesting ” after they saw Koke getting injured, hell, some people even tried to defend them

Jeronamo : by “favouritism”, if you mean Mario, I think Simeone was forced to play him after Tiago’s injury, although it doesn’t change the fact that Mario is bad
But I wish you also mean that Simeone favourited Miranda over Gimenez, because it also seems that I’m the only one who doesn’t like Miranda any more, and every time I talk about that I get angry replies

I wish now Simoene has realized that he can (in fact, he must) keep this squad and add Oliver & Correa to them and have a decent 23 or 24-player squad and learn how to rotate them perfectly .. because he will need them in nights like this one

Did you notice that we didn’t win any of the 4 games after wining the derby this season, a draw vs Rayo, a draw vs Celta, a defeat vs Barca & a defeat vs Celta
A curse, a hangover, or a fatigue after very demanding and exhausting derbies ?!
I don’t know .. but I do know that it could have been better

No La Liga title this season, I could understand that, but there is no excuse to not secure the 3rd place very soon, and with a comfortable gap

Simeone is the best coach in Atleti history and one of the best in the world, but there is still a big room for improvement for him

I don’t know….I think if we are a league championship winning team we should have won this game or at very least force a 1 pt draw tonight. Don’t really care whether we defend the league or not, but only care that we get the results against the teams that we should and accumulating 5 losses this season may as well mean that winning La Liga again is a far fetched imaginable reality. It made that winning against Real previously to somehow seemed to be meaningless. Still I am hoping in the end it wouldn’t. Unexpectedly v poor performance. Next week would be the perfect chance to bounce back and hope that this would be the last because it is really not about winning the titles, it’s really more about keeping the team and the form on a high quality level consistently, I would think. P E A C E

  • I wouldn’t say that beating Madrid now looks meaningless, at least it’s still 7 pts gap like before the derby and not 10 which would be the case if we lost the derby
But more importantly, we made it 1 point between Madrid and Barca, and helping them or any team to snatch the title from Madrid is something, some would even consider it like wining the league ourselves

And there is still the historic humiliation
But don’t get me wrong, I am angry, I was angry and worried about tonight’s game since min 52 of the derby when Arda & Raul were suspended

  • Jeronamo Pakor Jones

Yup I do mean players like miranda… but you say he didn’t have a choice but to bring on Mario and I disagree, he could have brought on Cani and just move Saul to his rightful position. Also I dislike Moya’s keeping as well but I seem to be the only one who sees his continuous mistakes even when he gets clean sheets. this game gave me a headache

  • Well, since you are with me about Miranda I will return the favor and be with you about Moya 😉

But for me, it’s not about his mistakes, I really don’t think he makes a lot of them, it’s about that he can’t make impossible saves, the ones we see from Courtois & de Gea, and that doesn’t make him qualified to be the 1st choice GK in a club like Atleti
The problem is that Oblak didn’t impress in the most of the games he played, but 7 games are too little, he needs to play more

I’ve said before that he won’t play in the CL, while he could play in La Liga in two conditions :
1- if we lost the hope of wining the title
2- if we had a big cushion from 4th place
Now -sadly- the first condition is done, I wish we can achieve the second very soon
