Just days after their season finished, Atlético Madrid announced their first signing for the new season.
Argentinian youngster Ángel Correa will join the Rojiblancos after scoring 12 times in 65 appearances for San Lorenzo.
Atleti will reportedly pay €8m for the 19-year old offensive midfielder, who could also play up front.
After Correa passes his medical, he’ll sign a 5 year contract in Madrid.
The signing is good news for Atleti fans, who have had to endure a lot of transfer talk these past days with numerous reports linking Godín, Tiago, Filipe, Arda, Diego Costa and Miranda away from the Vicente Calderón.
